PPC Solar is opening a full-service branch in Colorado Springs to offer sales, design and installation of PV systems in southern Colorado, said President and CEO Daniel Weinman.

?We are opening a new branch in the Springs that will make solar services more accessible to more people, help catalyze small business growth and create new jobs,? Weinman explained.

CST, which has focused primarily on the central Rio Grande market, opened its first office outside of Albuquerque in Sunland Park in southern New Mexico in March, said CST co-founder and partner Jerry Mosher. The new office will serve the Las Cruces and El Paso markets.

The company remodeled an existing building in Sunland Park. It hired nine employees to start, and expects to ramp up to 15 after the second month of operations, Mosher said.

CST also plans to open a full-service office in San Antonio, Texas, this spring. It will start with about 30 employees there, and ramp up to about 80 within a year, Mosher said.

?The San Antonio office is at least four times the size of Albuquerque,? Mosher said. ?It?s a much larger population.?
